Artist Bio
Gus Danowski
(Bio as of June 2007)
Gus Danowski most recently collaborated with the Goodman on In the Continuum during the 2006/2007 Season. He has off-Broadway assistant directing credits that include Cherry Lane Theatre, Theatre for a New Audience, 59E59 Theaters and Perry Street Theatre. International credits include his directing debut in London at the Hen and Chickens Theatre. Having trained at L’Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Paris and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Mr. Danowski worked as a professional actor in the U.K. In 2003, he joined the non-Equity company at Williamstown Theatre Festival while choreographing Big Love. Now based in New York, he participated in the workshop process when Primary Stages first produced In the Continuum. He then joined the African tour in Zimbabwe and South Africa as the associate director.
