Artist Bio
Brandon J. Dirden
(Bio as of March 2009)
Brandon J. Dirden most recently appeared at the Goodman in Magnolia during the 2008/2009 Season. Mr. Dirden’s Broadway credits include Prelude to a Kiss directed by Daniel Sullivan at Roundabout Theatre Company. His off-Broadway credits include The First Breeze of Summer directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson at Signature Theatre Company. His regional credits include Topdog/Underdog at PlayMakers Repertory Company; Ceremonies in Dark Old Men directed by Kenny Leon at True Colors Theatre Company; Othello, Twelfth Night, Metamorphoses, The Comedy of Errors and others at Georgia Shakespeare Festival; A Death in the House…, A Christmas Carol and The Breach at Alliance Theatre; Take Me Out at Theatre in the Square; Come On in My Kitchen at 7 Stages; Miss Dessa at Ensemble Theater; Joe Turner’s Come and Gone at Alley Theatre; Harvey and Othello at Utah Shakespearean Festival; and Julius Caesar and As You Like It at North Carolina Shakespeare Festival. Mr. Dirden is a graduate of Morehouse College and has an MFA in acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
