Artist Bio
Brendan Averett
(Bio as of September 2007)
Brendan Averett most recently appeared at the Goodman in Passion Play: a cycle in three parts during the 2007/2008 Season. Other Chicago credits include Blithe Spirit at The Gift Theater; Twelfth Night at Noble Fool; Henry V with The Hypocrites; Hapgood, Man and Superman, Holiday and Money with Remy Bumppo; and Hamlet and The Chairs at Court Theatre. Other recent theater credits include Lennie in Of Mice and Men at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and St. Louis Repertory—for which he was recently nominated for a Cincinnati Entertainment Award—and two seasons at the Stratford Festival of Canada in such works as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Measure for Measure, Guys and Dolls and The Brothers Karamazov. Mr. Averett is a Fellow of the Chicago Associates of the Stratford Festival.
