Artist Bio
José Antonio García
(Bio as of February 2015)
José Antonio García returns to Goodman Theatre, where he previously appeared in A Christmas Carol, Oedipus Complex, King Lear and The Revenge of the Space Pandas. Other Chicago credits include The Family Barber (Lyric Opera of Chicago); Fallow (Steep Theatre Company, Jeff Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor); Incident On Run 1217 (Factory Theatre); Six Stories Tall (Adventure Stage Chicago), SS! Taming of the Shrew and SS! The Comedy of Errors (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); The Last Meal Man (Collaboraction); Honus and Me (Chicago Children’s Theatre); Macbeth, Twelfth Night and Henry VIII (Illinois Shakespeare Festival); Electra (Bohemian Theatre Ensemble) and The Vow (Stage Left Theatre). Television and film credits include Cleveland Abduction, Not an Ordinary Day, Right There Waiting, Freudian Slip, Doubt, Chicago Fire, The Mob Doctor, Boss and Prison Break. He holds a BFA from the University of Connecticut and an MFA from Indiana University. Mr. Garcia is represented by Paonessa Talent, LLC.
