Artist Bio
Chris Genebach
(Bio as of September 2006)
Chris Genebach most recently appeared at the Goodman in King Lear during the 2006/2007 Season. He is making his Goodman Theatre debut. He was last seen on a Chicago stage in King John at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include Cardinal Winchester in Rose Rage, Demetrius in Short Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mercutio in Short Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet. Other Chicago credits include The Illusion, Some Things You Need to Know Before the World Ends: A Final Evening with the Illuminati, Tartuffe, Much Ado About Nothing, Our Town, Freedomland, Arsenic and Old Lace and Aristophanes’ The Acharnians and Lysistrata. He most recently understudied on Broadway for Brian F. O’Byrne in Robert Falls’ production of Shining City. Off-Broadway credits include The Other Side and Rose Rage.
