Artist Bio
Donald Brearley
(Bio as of October 2013)
Donald Brearley previously appeared at the Goodman in Richard III (1977); as Dick Wilkins in A Christmas Carol (1980-1983); in the American premieres of House and Garden and as Dr. Kelekian in Wit. Other Chicago credits include The Pajama Game at The Music Theatre Company; The History Boys at TimeLine Theatre Company (Jeff awards for Best Ensemble and Best Production); Booth, Memoir and Candida at Writers’ Theatre; Hapgood, Mrs. Warren’s Profession and The Philadelphia Story for Remy Bumppo Theatre Company; Hamlet, Richard III and Twelfth Night at First Folio Theatre and Richard II and The Taming of the Shrew at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Mr. Brearley has acted with ShawChicago Theater Company, Court Theatre, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Next Theatre Company, Drury Lane, Peninsula Players Theatre and others. Favorite roles include Tom Stoppard’s Rough Crossing and Artist Descending a Staircase at the Body Politic.
