Artist Bio
Oscar Vasquez
(Bio as of October 2012)
Oscar Vasquez most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2011/2012 Season. Previous credits include the role of Nibs in Peter Pan at Li’l Buds Theatre, the leading role in the short film Jonah and the Crab, produced by students at Northwestern University, and leading roles in King Ali’s New Threads and Destination Freedom, both at eta Creative Arts Theatre. In addition to acting and dance, Mr. Vasquez is establishing a presence in the musical and visual arts. He is a budding saxophonist and studies under Chicago jazz master Ari Brown. He is also an avid painter and has studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
