Zainab Jah

Zainab Jah most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Convert during the 2011/2012 Season. Regional credits include Ruined at La Jolla Playhouse, the Huntington Theatre Company and Berkeley Repertory Theatre (San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award for Featured Actress); A Doll’s House at the Williamstown Theatre Festival; Eclipsed at Yale Repertory Theatre; Tranced at Merrimack Repertory Theatre; King Lear and Trojan Women at the Classical Theater of Harlem; In Darfur at The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival; Nick Mwaluko’s Waafrikaa at New York’s Fresh Fruit Festival; Nick Mwaluko’s S/HE at New York’s Blue Heron Theatre; Much Ado About Nothing and Edward II with The Queen’s Company and the European tour of Peter Sellars’ The Children of Herakles. Her film and television credits include principal roles in 100 Centre Street directed by Sidney Lumet, Dinner Rush with Danny Aiello and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
