Artist Bio
Beth McGuire
(Bio as of February 2012)
Ms. McGuire most recently collaborated with the Goodman on The Convert during the 2011/2012 Season. Her dialect/vocal coach credits include The Overwhelming at Roundabout Theatre Company; The Black Eyed at New York Theatre Workshop; Five by Tenn at Manhattan Theatre Club; People Be Heard at Playwrights Horizons; Free Market and Exit Cuckoo at The Working Theater; In Darfur at The Public Theater; Belleville, The Piano Lesson, Servant of Two Masters, Eclipsed, Death of a Salesman, Lydia, Trouble in Mind, King Lear, The Mystery Plays, dance of the holy ghosts, The Taming of the Shrew, All’s Well that Ends Well, Iphigenia at Aulis and Kingdom of Earth at Yale Repertory Theatre; Hamlet, Carnival, King John and The Glass Menagerie at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey; The Cook at Hartford Stage and Crimes of the Heart at Cape Playhouse. Ms. McGuire is an assistant professor of acting at Yale School of Drama. She is also an actress and member of Actors’ Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, with more than 30 years of performance experience.
