Artist Bio
George Keating
(Bio as of March 2014)
George Keating makes his Goodman debut. His Chicago credits include Man of La Mancha (Court Theatre); Kabuki Lady Macbeth and The Three Musketeers (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); Grey Gardens, The Good War and At Wit’s End (Northlight Theatre); Sweeney Todd, Hairspray, Seussical, Ragtime, Miss Saigon, Lucky Stiff and Evita (Drury Lane Oakbrook); Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, The Producers and Cats (Marriott Theatre); Grand Hotel, The Petrified Forest and Godspell (Theatre at the Center) and Carousel (Light Opera Works). He toured nationally with Scrooge opposite Richard Chamberlain. Mr. Keating is the co-founder of Theatrebam Chicago and co-creator of the hit show Schoolhouse Rock Live! He performed in the show’s original cast in Chicago, off-Broadway and on three national tours. He is core faculty at the Cherubs program at Northwestern University. Mr. Keating holds a BFA in acting from the Theatre School at DePaul University.
