Jenna Fischer

Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television
show The Office for which she received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Comedy.

In October 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend, Angela Kinsey, launched a podcast called Office Ladies which has become wildly popular with over 400 million downloads since its start. In January 2021, Office Ladies won iHeart Radio’s Podcast of the Year award. And in 2022 they won the Webby Award for Best General Series – Television and Film Podcast People’s Voice Award.

A trained theater actress, Fischer has also starred in the Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy, written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. Fischer also starred in the world premiere of Steve Martin’s play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking run at the Old Globe Theatre.

Fischer’s films credits include the Mike White feature, Brad’s Status, in a role opposite Ben Stiller; The 15:17 to Paris directed by Clint Eastwood; The Giant Mechanical Man (which she also produced); the Farrelly Brothers’ comedy Hall Pass; Solitary Man opposite Michael Douglas; Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, produced by Judd Apatow; and Blades of Glory opposite Will Ferrell and most recently in Paramount Pictures’ Mean Girls, produced by Tina Fey. She will also appear in the upcoming New Years Rev.

In 2018 Fischer’s first book was released, The Actor’s Life: A Survival Guide, published by Ben Bella Books which contained strategies and encouragement for aspiring actors. In 2022 Fischer, along with Angela Kinsey, published the New York Times #1 Bestselling book The Office BFFs: Tales from The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There which is a memoir of their best friendship and time on The Office.
