Sheila Schmidt

Sheila Schmidt most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Chicago Boys during the 2011/2012 Season. Previous Goodman credits include House and Garden, Esperanza Rising and Chicago Children’s Theatre’s Honus and Me. Additional Chicago credits include Jersey Boys with Broadway in Chicago; The Adventures of Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Julius Caesar, The Molière Comedies, Rose Rage, The Winter’s Tale, King John, The Taming of the Shrew, As You Like It, Richard II, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Antony and Cleopatra at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; The Elephant Man at Steppenwolf Theatre Company; Fatboy at A Red Orchid Theatre; The Selfish Giant and Hana’s Suitcase at Chicago Children’s Theatre; and Twelfth Night and Piano at Court Theatre. Regional credits include O Beautiful (world premiere by Theresa Rebeck), All the King’s Men (adapted and directed by Adrian Hall), Of Mice and Men, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Imaginary Invalid, The Hostage, She Stoops to Conquer and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Resident Ensemble Players where she is a founding company member. Ms. Schmidt is a graduate of the University of Delaware’s Professional Theatre Training Program.
