Artist Bio
Andy Carey
(Bio as of October 2011)
Andy Carey most recently appeared at the Goodman in Ask Aunt Susan during the 2011/2012 Season. His Chicago credits include Marc Antony in Julius Caesar, the Porter in Macbeth and Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night at A Crew of Patches Theatre Company; Rocco in Can You Spot Me? with the Sandbox Theatre Project; and weekly performances with the Improvised Shakespeare Company at iO, with whom he received the 2008 New York Nightlife Award for Best Comedic Performance by a Group. Mr. Carey has performed, taught and toured with Idaho Shakespeare Festival and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and has appeared on television in HBO’s Funny or Die.
