Artist Bio
Maggie Portman
(Bio as of March 2014)
Maggie Portman makes her Goodman debut. Her Chicago credits include Hello, Dolly! (Drury Lane Theatre); Annie and Hair (Paramount Theatre); Beauty and the Beast (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); The Secret Garden (Light Opera Works) and Assassins and Ragtime (Porchlight Music Theatre). She received Non-Equity Jeff Awards in 2009 and 2010 for Best Actress in a Principal Role/Musical for Evita and Chess at Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre. Ms. Portman also co-founded and has taught with Li’l Buds Theatre Company, a Chicago non-profit theater for all ages, since 2005.
