Artist Bio
Brad Rouse
(Bio as of June 2003)
Brad Rouse most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Bounce during the 2002/2003 Season. He directed Anthony Rapp in Hedwig and the Angry Inch at the City Theatre in Pittsburgh, and his production of The Mice by Julia Jordan, Nell Benjamin and Lawrence O’Keefe, part of an evening entitled 3hree, played the Prince Music Theater and the Ahmanson (Barrymore and Ovation Award—Best Director nominations). Other credits include Bloomer Girl with Encores!, Lucy and the Conquest by Cusi Cram at Julliard and Tatjana in Color by Julia Jordan at CATF. Workshop presentations include plays by Adam Rapp, Daniel Goldfarb, Robert Lee, Leon Ko and Stephanie Simpson. He was the associate producer on Book of Kings, a new short film for the Merchant and Ivory Foundation, which premiered at the 2002 Tribeca Film Festival, starring Kathleen Chalfant. He has assisted Harold Prince since 1995.
