Artist Bio
Brian J. Gill
(Bio as of November 2006)
Brian J. Gill most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2006/2007 Season. He recently appeared at Goodman Theatre in Robert Falls’ 20th Anniversary season production of King Lear. Chicago credits include Chicago Shakespeare, Victory Gardens, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, Provision Theatre Company, Apple Tree Theatre and Irish Repertory Theatre. Regional credits include Theatre at the Center in Indiana, the Illinois and Texas Shakespeare Festivals and Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C. He originated the role of James Boswell in Marie Kohler’s Boswell’s Dreams for Renaissance Theatreworks in Milwaukee, where he will return in early 2007 to appear as Banquo in Macbeth and Hotspur in 1 Henry IV with Milwaukee Shakespeare. Mr. Gill trained at the Globe Theatre, London with the first International Artistic Fellowship and appeared as Iachimo and Pisanio in the Fellowship’s production of Cymbeline: In Close-Up directed by Mike Alfreds.
