Artist Bio
Darian Tene Hicks

Darian Tene Hicks is a Chicago-based actor, dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist. She holds a B.A. in Dance from the University of Alabama and an M.Ed. from Roosevelt University. She has performed in musicals and plays across Chicagoland and appeared in The Chi, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and 4400. She is thrilled to return to Goodman Theatre, where she has choreographed the Musical Theater Intensive for seven years. Choreography credits include The Color Purple (Goodman Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre), New Age (Milwaukee Repertory Theatre), The Wiz (Kokandy Productions), and Little Shop of Horrors (American Blues Theater).
