Artist Bio
Deidrie Henry

Deidrie Henry most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Ballad of Emmett Till during the 2007/2008 Season. Ms. Henry’s regional credits include a recent performance as Jen in Small Tragedy at Odyssey Theatre, for which she was nominated for an LA Weekly Award for Best Actress. She appeared in Yellowman at The Fountain Theatre, for which she was honored as Best Actress from NAACP and received an Ovation Award, Backstage Garland Award and the Los Angeles Drama Critic Circle Award. Other regional credits include Yellowman at Berkeley Repertory Theatre; Crowns at Intiman Theatre; the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for four seasons, including the roles of Rosalind in As You Like It, Irina in Three Sisters, Susie in Wit, Ophelia in Hamlet and Vera Dotson in Seven Guitars, among others. Other credits include Closer at Portland Center Stage and Blues for an Alabama Sky at Alliance Theatre, for which she was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has also performed at Hartford Stage, Arena Stage and Huntington Theatre Company. She received a Backstage Bistro Award (New York) for Outstanding Vocalist and Cabaret Debut for her cabaret, What a Day for a Daydream. Ms. Henry currently plays the recurring role of Aubrey McDonald on The Riches and has recently finished starring in a CBS pilot with John Leguizamo. Other television credits include E.R., Without a Trace, Commander-in-Chief, Strong Medicine, Shark and NCIS.
