Artist Bio
Deirdre Harrison

Deirdre Harrison most recently appeared at the Goodman in Chicago Boys during the 2011/2012 Seaon. Other Goodman credits include A Mom in a staged reading of Laura Jacqmin’s Two Lakes, Two Rivers. Chicago credits include Bedbugs at the Chicago Fringe Festival, Aleksandar Hemon’s A Coin for WBEZ’s Stories on Stage and appearances at TUTA. New York credits include productions at Classic Stage Company, Cucaracha Theatre and the Gertrude Stein Repertory Theatre, and her regional credits include the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and Portland Stage. In London, she appeared as Evie in Tongue of a Bird at Almeida Theatre; Rose in The Lights and Ava Coo in The Strip at the Royal Court Theatre; Jackie-O in The House of Yes at the Gate Theatre; and as the Eileen understudy in June Moon at Hampstead Theatre (also on the West End). Other international credits include performances at Lyric Theatre Belfast, West Yorkshire Playhouse and the Edinburgh International Festival. On film, she appeared in Gangs of New York, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Flodder in Amerika! and Shining Through, and her television credits include HBO’s My House in Umbria, ITV’s Jeeves and Wooster, LTW’s London’s Burning and ABC’s remake of Notorious. Ms. Harrison was featured as Athena on Pete Townshend’s Psycholderelict album. She is a graduate of Yale University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
