Artist Bio
Desiré DuBose
(Bio as of March 2004)
Desiré DuBose most recently appeared at the Goodman in Crowns during the 2003/2004 Season. She was a performer in the 2003 Helen Hayes Awards at the Kennedy Center, and performed in a record-breaking run of Pippin at the Round House Theatre. Other regional stage credits include the 2003 Charles MacArthur Award Best New Musical nominees Three Sistahs and Harlem Rose at Metrostage, both directed by Thomas W. Jones II; Bessie’s Blues at Studio Theatre and Dreamgirls directed by Mike Malone in Hong Kong. She was a featured vocalist with the Washington Best Musicians Agency, the East Coast Jazz Festival and numerous choirs. Ms. DuBose received a B.F.A. in musical theater from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
