Artist Bio
Emily Albright
(Bio as of November 2004)
Emily Albright most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2004/2005 Season. She appeared as the violinist/ensemble member in Winesburg, Ohio with About Face and Steppenwolf theaters. Other Chicago credits include two shows with the Neo-Futurists: Greg Allen’s evidence and Game/Place/Show in which she appeared as Claire. Other Chicago appearances include Tracy Lord in The Philadelphia Story with Open Eye Productions, understudying/performing Perdita in the Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s The Winter’s Tale, Agnes in A Bright Room Called Day and Lorencova in Temptation with Blackjack Productions. She performed with the Winesburg cast in New York in October, where they appeared as part of the New American Musical Theatre Festival. Regionally, she played Sister Amnesia in Nunsense II at the Brown County Playhouse, as well as many performances at her alma mater, Indiana University at Bloomington. She has studied the violin classically for 14 years.
