Artist Bio
Erica Elam
(Bio as of May 2011)
Erica Elam most recently appeared at the Goodman in Stage Kiss during the 2010/2011 Season. Ms. Elam has previously appeared at the Goodman in The Trip to Bountiful. Additional local credits include Orlando at Court Theatre; Born Yesterday, Comic Potential, Panic and Rumors at the Peninsula Players Theatre; The Philadelphia Story and Aren’t We All? at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company; Inherit the Wind at Northlight Theatre; The People vs. Friar Laurence, The Man Who Killed Romeo and Juliet at The Second City/Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Vincent in Brixton at Apple Tree Theatre; Abingdon Square at the Piven Theatre Workshop and Winesburg, Ohio at Steppenwolf Theatre Company/About Face Theatre. As an improviser, she has performed at The Second City, iO, The Annoyance Theatre and ComedySportz, writes for The Best Church of God and recently completed an off-Broadway run with the critically acclaimed musical improvisation group Baby Wants Candy at Barrow Street Theatre. Ms. Elam is a graduate of The School at Steppenwolf and The Second City Conservatory.
