Artist Bio
Erik Lochtefeld
(Bio as of September 2010)
Erik Lochtefeld most recently appeared at the Goodman in Candide during the 2010/2011 Season. His other Chicago credits include Our Town at Lookingglass Theatre Company; The Piano and Twelfth Night at Court Theatre; Cloud Nine and Whitman at About Face Theatre; and Macbeth at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, among others. He appeared in Metamorphoses on Broadway and The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci at Second Stage Theatre. His off-off-Broadway credits include Powerhouse at The New York International Fringe Festival, which received a Best Ensemble Award, and But I’m a Cheerleader at New York Musical Theatre Festival. Mr. Lochtefeld’s regional credits include The Adventures of Tom Sawyer at Hartford Stage; Abe Lincoln in Illinois at Intiman Theatre (Footlights Award for Best Actor); How Shakespeare Won the West at Huntington Theatre Company; and The Pillowman, The Secret in the Wings and The Glass Menagerie at Berkeley Repertory Theatre (Bay Area Critics nomination for Best Actor). Other credits include work at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Center Stage, California Shakespeare Theater, Two River Theater Company, Yale Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, McCarter Theatre Center, Mark Taper Forum and Williamstown Theatre Festival. His television credits include Law & Order (NBC), Third Watch (NBC) and All My Children (ABC).
