Artist Bio
Glenn Fleshler
(Bio as of January 2006)
Glenn Fleshler most recently appeared at the Goodman in Pericles during the 2005/2006 Season. He also appeared in Pericles at Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., was directed by Mary Zimmerman in Measure for Measure at the New York Shakespeare Festival and appeared in last season’s world premiere of Zimmerman’s Silk at Goodman. Since last season, he appeared in Kenneth Lonergan’s upcoming film Margaret opposite Anna Paquin and Allison Janney, appeared opposite David Straithairn in the short film The Shovel, as well as appearing in the American premiere of Einstein’s Gift off-Broadway. Other New York credits include Pericles, King John, The Changeling, Twilight and the world premieres of Demon Baby, Can’t Let Go, The Rats Are Getting Bigger and The New Bozena. Regionally, he appeared as the title character in the world premiere of Mr. Marmalade at South Coast Rep.; as well as in the premieres of Abstract Expression and Dollhouse by Teresa Rebeck; and Pera Palas by Sinan Unel at The Long Wharf. His Shakespeare Theatre Company credits include Macbeth and Much Ado About Nothing. He has made multiple regional appearances at McCarter Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, Hartford Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival and Barrington Stage. On television, he has been seen last season as an attorney on Law and Order and in the recurring role of Gary “Animal” Barnes on Third Watch. Previous television credits include Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Sex and the City and The Job. Films include A Price Above Rubies, 30 Days and Garmento, among others. Mr. Fleshler has a M.F.A. from New York University and coaches actors in New York City.
