Artist Bio
James Warner Ballard
(Bio as of November 2001)
James Warner Ballard most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2001/2002 Season. Other Goodman credits include Boy Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. His stage credits include Schroeder in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at Haven Middle School; Zebulon in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Wilmette Children’s Theatre; and Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit and Michael in Peter Pan at Evanston Children’s Theatre. Also, as part of a Northwestern University senior student grant production, James appeared as the leading role in the film Boogie Monsters. An eighth grader at Haven Middle School in Evanston, he is currently an assistant director in the school’s production of Tales of 1001 Nights. In addition to acting, James enjoys the stage combat and circus arts courses at the Actors Gymnasium.
