Artist Bio
Jessica Leigh Brown
(Bio as of September 2008)
Jessica Leigh Brown most recently appeared at the Goodman in Turn of the Century during the 2008/2009 Season. Broadway and national tour credits include the first national tour of Sweet Charity (as Ursula), Dr. Dolittle with Tommy Tune (understudied and performed as Emma Fairfax), the original revival cast of Nine, the Musical, Stephen Sondheim’s original revival cast of Follies (as Buddy’s Sally), Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard, two productions in the New York City Center’s Encores!, My Favorite Broadway at Carnegie Hall on PBS and two Tony Awards telecasts, among other performances at Radio City Music Hall including the Radio City Rockettes. Regional roles include Miss Lois Lane/Bianca in Kiss Me, Kate at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Queenie in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, Lola in Damn Yankees and Babette in Beauty and the Beast. Ms. Brown appeared in the Frank Oz film The Stepford Wives.
