Artist Bio
John Boesche

John Boesche scenic and projection designs have been seen at the Goodman in The Ballad of Emmett Till, Vigils (Jeff Award nominated), Beyond Glory, Mariela in the Desert, Finishing the Picture and Drowning Crow, among others. Other Chicago credits include work at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Marriott Theatre Lincolnshire, Royal George Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company and others. Broadway credits include The Glass Menagerie directed by Frank Galati at Roundabout Theatre Company. Regional credits include work at Arizona Theatre Company, Asolo Repertory Theatre (Sarasota), Denver Center Theatre Company, the Geffen Playhouse (Los Angeles), McCarter Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, New York Shakespeare Festival (New York City), Seattle Repertory Theatre, Folger Theatre (Washington DC), South Coast Repertory (Costa Mesa) and Theatre on the Square (San Francisco), among others. Mr. Boesche has received several Jeff Special Awards for projection design, and an LA Drama Critics Circle Award in 2012. He is the chair of Digital Media for Live Performance at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
