Jos N. Banks, he/they (Costume Designer) is a true renaissance man, visual/performing arts artist, costume designer, stylist and teaching artist. Tours: Intl – Kinky Boots (Lola), Hair (Hud) and The Color Purple (Harpo). Regional: Goodman, Steppenwolf, Yale, MUNY, Drury Lane, Paramount Theatre, The Second City, Orlando Shakes, About Face Theatre, Porchlight, Congo Square, Windy City Playhouse, Farmers Alley, Raven Theatre, Apollo Theatre, Boho Theatre, Black Ensemble Theatre, Pride Films & Plays, Theo Ubique, Royal George, Open Door Rep and Strawdog Theatre & Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Film: Showtime’s The Chi, Work In Progress and Rise Against’s Make it Stop. 4X Nominee for “Best Costume Designer” at the Black Theater Alliance Awards. Curator & keynote of his very own master class called #BeFEARLESS w/ Jos N. Banks.
