Lorin Latarro

Lorin Latarro (Choreographer) Chicago: Director of A Taste of Things to Come at Chicago’s Nederlander Theatre. Lorin has choreographed Broadway’s Into the Woods, Waitress, Mrs. Doubtfire, Les Liaisons Dangereuses with Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber, Waiting for Godot with Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart as well as Merrily We Roll Along for Roundabout Theatre and La Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera. Lorin recently directed Candace Bushnell’s one woman show, Is There Still Sex in the City?, at the Daryl Roth Theatre, which was a New York TimesCritic’s Pick. Additional directing credits include #Date Me: An OK Cupid Experiment and Trails by Jeff Thompson, Christy Hall, and Jordan Mann. Additional choreography credits include The Visitor (Public Theater); Chess (John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts); Lin-Manuel Miranda’s 21 Chump Street (Brooklyn Academy of Music); Twelfth Night and The Odyssey (Public/Delacorte Theater); Queen of the Night, which garnered a Drama Desk Award; Assassins and Oliver! (New York City Center Encores!); Huey Lewis’ Heart of Rock and Roll (Old Globe Theatre); Beaches (Drury Lane Theatre, London); and A Christmas Carol (McCarter Theatre). Lorin received a BFA from The Juilliard School and an MA from NYU Tisch in Film and Television Directing Fundamentals. She is a Drama Desk, Lortel, and Chita Rivera nominee.
