Artist Bio

MARCO VIDAL graduated from ENAT (Mexico National School of Theater Arts) of Mexican Fine Arts National Institute (INBA). He was educated by professors J. E. Gorlero, R. Ramírez Carnero and A. Celarié. He has been trained by the Odin Teatre school with professor Torgeil and with Royal Shakespeare Company. He was a fellow with Mexican National Fine Arts Institute with the project En la soledad de los campos de algodón. He has participated in more than 50 theater productions, short films and television programs. He directed Terapeutas S.A., featured at Foro El Foco and Foro Shakespeare. He has collaborated as playwright, actor and director at Micro-theater. He has participated in Festival Cervantino, Mexican National Theater Showcase, International Theater Festival in Puebla, Cultural Festival Amado Nervo, International Theater Festival in Nuevo León, Theater Festival and Alternatives in Nayarit, among many others. Internationally, he has participated with Mendoza, winning Best Production in the IV International Competition in Almagro, Ibero-American Theater Festival in Cádiz, Sala Kubik Fabrik in Madrid, Spain and Heidelberger Stuckemart in Germany.  He currently collaborates as actor in Mendoza with Los Colochos Teatro, in Los Equilibristas, Pianissimo and Don Araña, running at Centro Cultural Carretra 45 Teatro.

Actor egresado de la ENAT de Bellas Artes. Formado por los maestros J. E. Gorlero, R. Ramírez Carnero y A. Celarié. Ha tomado cursos con la escuela de teatro con el Odin Teatret, con el maestro Torgeil y con la Royal Shakespeare. Becario del INBA con el proyecto En la soledad de los campos de algodón. Ha participado en más de 50 puestas en escena, y realizado cortometrajes y programas de televisión.

Dirigió el montaje Terapeutas S.A. que se ha presentado en el Foro El Foco y en el Foro Shakespeare. Ha colaborado como autor, actor y director en el proyecto Microteatro.

Ha participado en el Festival Cervantino, la Muestra Nacional de Teatro, Festival Internacional de Teatro de Puebla, Festival Cultural Amado Nervo, Festival Internacional de Teatro de Nuevo León, Festival de Teatro y sus Alternativas, Nayarit, entre muchos otros. A niver internacional, ha participado con la obra Mendoza en el IV Certamen Internacional Almagro Off, España, obteniendo el premio a mejor puesta en escena, Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Cádiz y Sala Kubik Fabrik, Madrid. Así como el Heidelberger Stückemart en Heidelberg, Alemania.

Actualmente colabora como actor en el proyecto Mendoza del grupo Los Colochos Teatro, en Los Equilibristas, Pianissimo y con Don Araña, que estará en temporada en el Centro Cultural Carretera 45 Teatro.
