Artist Bio
Marilynn Bogetich
(Bio as of June 2003)
Marilynn Bogetich most recently appeared at the Goodman in Bounce during the 2002/2003 Season. Other Goodman credits include Mrs. Fezziwig/Charwoman in A Christmas Carol and Jenny in Death of a Salesman. Other recent performances include the Old Lady in Sunday in the Park with George at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Maria Arndt at Steppenwolf; My Fair Lady at Court; and Bubbe Meisus at Northlight. Chicago credits include Candlelight Dinner Playhouse productions of Follies, Phantom of the Opera, Into the Woods, Cabaret and Fiddler on the Roof, as well as Damn Yankees, My Fair Lady, Marne, It’s a Wonderful Life and Fiddler on the Roof at Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace. Other theater performances include By the Bog of Cats at Irish Repertory; All My Sons at Illinois Theatre Center; Plaza Suite at Drury Lane Evergreen Park; Corpse at Forum Theatre; First is Supper at National Jewish Theatre; and A Little Night Music, Gigi and Me and My Girl at Theatre at the Center. Ms. Bogetich also performed in the national tour of The Sound of Music starring Marie Osmond. She was awarded a Joseph Jefferson Award for her performance as Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady, and was nominated for her role as Carlotta in Follies and twice for her role as Carlotta in Phantom.
