Artist Bio
Marla Lampert
(Bio as of November 2002)
Marla Lampert most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Crumbs from the Table of Joy during the 2005/2006 Season. Other Goodman credits include The Clean House and A Christmas Carol. Ms. Lampert’s choreography was also seen at Drury Lane Oakbrook in its production of Annie. This past summer, she choreographed A Little Night Music at the Ravinia Festival, starring Patti LuPone and George Hearn. Ms. Lampert has worked extensively throughout the Chicago area, including Apple Tree Theatre (where she serves as an artistic associate), the Apollo, Chicago Opera Theatre, Light Opera Works, National Jewish Theatre, Northlight, Peninsula Players, Piper’s Alley and Victory Gardens. Ms. Lampert has choreographed numerous industrial productions and continues to choreograph the Chicago Bar Association’s Christmas Spirits. She received an After Dark Award for her choreography in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at Drury Lane Oakbrook and a Joseph Jefferson Award for Kiss of the Spider Woman at Apple Tree.
