Monica Lopez most recently appeared at the Goodman in Camino Real during the 2011/2012 Season. Other Goodman credits include The Cook, several seasons of the Latino Theatre Festival and numerous staged readings. Additional Chicago credits include Our Enemies: Lively Scenes of Love and Combat and Ten Acrobats in an Amazing Leap of Faith at Silk Road Rising and The Duchess of Malfi at Writers’ Theatre. Regionally, she has appeared in The Merchant of Venice and Macbeth at the Utah Shakespearean Festival. This spring, Ms. Lopez will receive an MFA from the University of Illinois, where she has appeared in The Crucible, Killer Joe, Iphigenia and Other Daughters, Battle of Angels and The Illusion.
