Artist Bio
Narda E. Alcorn
(Bio as of January 2007)
Narda E. Alcorn most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Radio Golf during the 2006/2007 Season. Past Goodman credits include production stage manager for Gem of the Ocean and stage management intern for Seven Guitars. Broadway credits include production stage manager for Gem of the Ocean starring Phylicia Rashad, stage manager for the revival of A Raisin in the Sun starring Sean Combs, The Lion King for three years as a permanent stage manager and, currently, substitute stage manager. Other regional credits include the Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson Theatre, Yale Repertory Theatre, Huntington Theatre, Alley Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Ford’s Theatre. Other credits include production coordinator for Jitney at the National Theatre of Great Britain (Olivier Award Winner), two seasons with the Joseph Papp Public Theater as associate production manager, company manager for Richard Foreman’s Paradise Hotel in Europe, production stage manager for the The Gospel at Colonus in various North American venues and Russia and assistant to the producer for on-air promotions at CBS. Ms. Alcorn is currently an associate professor and head of stage management at SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film.
