Artist Bio
Percy Littleton
(Bio as of April 2001)
Percy Littleton most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Amen Corner during the 2000/2001 Season. Other Goodman credits include Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. His work in theater, television and concerts includes performing the role of Martin Luther King Jr. in a wide variety of productions, including Jeff Stetson’s award-winning play The Meeting at the Goodman Theatre, Atlanta’s Academy Theatre, Minneapolis’ C.J. Walker Theatre, numerous public schools and a tour produced by Victory Gardens. Other roles performed include Chicago gangster Jeff on television’s America’s Most Wanted and the role of Mayor Harold Washington in a Chicago trial, at the request of the City of Chicago Corporation Council’s Office. Other productions include Big River, Fences and Two Trains Running at East Light Theatre in Peoria, Illinois; Po’ at Chicago Theatre Company; and productions with the Kuumba Theater and Illinois Theatre Center. He toured in concert in Italy, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany with the Sue Conway Victory Singers.
