Artist Bio
Quenna Lené Barrett
(Bio as of March 2022)
Quenna Lené Barrett (Director) is an educator, director, performer, creative facilitator, and writer, and serves as Associate Director of Education at Goodman as well as co-curator for Future Labs. Select directorial credits include: By The Way Meet Vera Stark at The Theatre School at DePaul; Re-writing the Declaration at NYU Steinhardt/Free Street; Eclipsed at Pegasus Theatre (AD); and This Boat Called my Body (co-director, co-writer) with For Youth Inquiry Performance Company at the Illinois Caucus of Adolescent Health, where she is a company and board member. Quenna is a current doctoral candidate at NYU Steinhardt, an Associate Artist with Pivot Arts, an adjunct professor at The Theatre School at DePaul, and a member of the new leadership circle of the Center for Performance and Civic Practice.
