Rick Fox

Rick Fox (Music Director & Additional Orchestrations). Goodman Theatre debut. Chicago: Gypsy; Chicago Shakespeare Theater (Jeff nominee). Broadway: Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar (2012), Dr. Zhivago, Blood Brothers. Off-Broadway: Once Around the City (Second Stage). Canadian premieres in Toronto: Phantom of the Opera, The Who’s Tommy, The Producers, Rent, The Lion King, We Will Rock You. Rick worked for six years as the Director of Music at the Stratford Festival of Canada, under the leadership of Artistic Director Des McAnuff. Stratford productions as music director: Cabaret, West Side Story, Evita, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, The Who’s Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar. As orchestrator, Rick arranged Cabaret, Evita, Jacques Brel…He composed music for a production of Caesar and Cleopatra, starring Christopher Plummer. TV: Colm Wilkinson and Patti LuPone at the New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom (PBS).
