Artist Bio
Roberta Duchak
(Bio as of April 2014)
Roberta Duchak returns to the Goodman, where she performed in The Visit. As a musical director she received a Jeff Award for Ragtime and nominations for Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, Spamalot and Miss Saigon (Drury Lane Theatre). Other Chicago credits include Les Misérables, Gypsy, Xanadu and Oliver! (Drury Lane Theatre); The Story of My Life. (Biograph Theater); The Original Grease (American Theater Company) and The Rocky Horror Show (Mercury Theater). Ms. Duchak also served as the musical supervisor for A Little Night Music (Writers Theatre). As an actress, Ms. Duchak performed on Broadway in Ragtime and in national tours including Scrooge, Showboat and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (also Chicago company). She worked as the vocal coach for Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman for the feature film adaptation of Les Misérables.
