Artist Bio
Roni Akurati
(Bio as of May 2013)
Roni Akurati most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2011/2012 Season. Other Chicago stage credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Lyric Opera of Chicago; My Chicago: Stories from the City at Gorilla Tango Theatre and Sleeping Beauty with SOPA Productions. After appearing in the Emmy-nominated WTTC Chicago production of the Jr. Cuisine Cooking Show, Mr. Akurati spent the past year in Hollywood, where he shot the Fox pilot Prodigy Bully, NBC’s Animal Practice and Nickelodeon’s Deadtime Stories. Mr. Akurati’s film credits include the international production of Chinna Cinema and the short films Zombeo & Juliécula and Microeconomics.
