Artist Bio
Rosalyn Rahn Kerins
(Bio as of September 2001)
Rosalyn Rahn Kerins most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Visit during the 2001/2002 Season. She has a diversity of roles to her credit, from Norina in Don Pasquale for the Washington Opera Society to the Narrator in the original Broadway production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Other credits include Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables (first national tour); Irish Landlady and understudy for Parthy in Show Boat (Chicago company); Marge McDougal in Promises, Promises and Sophie in Call Me Madam (Ovations Series, Chicago); Merrily We Roll Along (La Jolla Playhouse); Forbidden Broadway (NYC); and Luisa in The Fantasticks (East Carolina Summer Theatre). She had a principal role in Cole at the Royal Poinciana Playhouse and other principal roles at Ford’s Repertory Theatre, Washington D.C., An Evening with Frank Loesser (Kennedy Center), Women in Tune (Theatre Off-Park, NYC) and I Love New York industrial shows (London, Rome, Paris, and nationally). She was a guest soloist with Mercer Ellington’s Orchestra and district winner of the Metropolitan Opera Auditions. She holds an MFA in acting and a Bachelor of Music degree.
