Artist Bio
Steve Schine
(Bio as of September 2006)
Steve Schine most recently appeared at the Goodman in King Lear during the 2006/2007 Season. Other Chicago credits include the world premiere of Brett Neveu’s The Earl, Hunger and Thirst directed by Michael Shannon and the After Dark Award-winning Gagarin Way at A Red Orchid Theatre; the Jeff Award-winning The Cider House Rules Part 1 and 2, Hellcab and A Going Concern at Famous Door; and Rosa Lublin and Mad Forest at Piven Theatre. He has also appeared with American Theater Company, Raven Theatre, Journeymen and Strawdog Theatre Company. Regional credits include Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Octavius in Julius Caesar, Sir Eglamour in Two Gentlemen of Verona and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet at Lakeside Shakespeare Theatre. Mr. Schine will be reprising his role as Rick in the upcoming independent feature film version of The Earl.
