Artist Bio
Susan Hart
(Bio as of May 2007)
Susan Hart most recently appeared at the Goodman in Oedipus Complex during the 2006/2007 Season. Other Goodman credits include Flora in The Rose Tattoo and Trish in House and Garden, as well as many seasons of A Christmas Carol. Ms. Hart’s numerous Chicago Shakespeare Theater credits include Doll Tearsheet in Henry IV, Parts One and Two, which toured to the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon as part of the RSC’s Complete Works Festival; Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, directed by Mark Lamos; and Paulina in A Winter’s Tale, directed by Michael Bogdanov. Other Chicago credits include The Seagull, Benefactors, Our Town, Misalliance, Loot and The Glass Menagerie at Writers’ Theatre; The Gamester and As Bees in Honey Drown directed by Gary Griffin at Northlight Theatre; David’s Mother and The Dying Gaul at Apple Tree Theatre; and shows at Victory Gardens, Theatre at the Center, Touchstone Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook and Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre. Regional credits include Beatrice in Much Ado about Nothing and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth for Milwaukee Shakespeare; and Alice/Mistress Quickly in Henry V, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Summer Shakespeare at Notre Dame.
