Artist Bio
Tempe Thomas
(Bio as of September 2010)
Tempe Thomas most recently appeared at the Goodman in Candide during the 2010/2011 Season, other Goodman credits include the New Stages Series reading of Floyd and Clea Under the Western Sky. Her Chicago credits include Little Edie in Grey Gardens and Betty Jean in Marvelous Wonderettes at Northlight Theatre; Maria Elena in Buddy Holly and Gertrude in Seussical the Musical at Drury Lane Oakbrook; Marty in Grease at Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire; and Brooke in Water Coolers at Lakeshore Theater, as well as roles with Provision Theater Company, Chicago Center for the Performing Arts and First Folio Theatre. She appeared in the New York Music Theatre Festival TAM Award-winning production of River’s End. Regionally, she has worked with Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany and West Coast Jewish Theatre in Los Angeles and has toured with Classical Kids Live’s production of Tchaikovsky Discovers America. She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity and a graduate of Northwestern University.
