Artist Bio
Tevin’Lamar Rice
(Bio as of January 2023)
Tevin’Lamar Rice, he/him (Dance/Movement Assistant) is a dance teaching artist for Forward Momentum Chicago. Born dancer and loving person, Rice’s dance journey started in his primary education with the Joffrey Ballet Middle School Dance Club with Cristin Carole. Since then, Rice continued his secondary education and dance training with After School Matters, Joel Hall, Red Clay Dance Youth Ensemble, Gallery 37 and Najwa Dance Corps. He received his dance/theatre degree from Northeastern Illinois University, where he was also featured in musicals such at Guys & Dolls & Ragtime. He also choreographed and presented several student choreographic pieces. Rice currently shares his passion for dance with the youth of Chicago Public Schools.
