Artist Bio
Tina Cannon
(Bio as of September 2001)
Tina Cannon most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Visit during the 2001/2002 Season. She was also seen in the national tour of Fosse under the direction of Ann Reinking, and has performed nationally and internationally with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, River North Chicago Dance Company and as a Rockette in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Other credits include Eliot Ness in Cleveland (Dance Captain), Disney’s Pocahontas and Hercules movie premieres and the Chicago Tribune Charities’ Nutcracker. Ms. Cannon was also featured in the PBS special, River North Rising and the film Soul Survivors. Originally from Rochester, N.Y., she studied dance on scholarship with the Boston, Cleveland, Joffrey, and Rochester City Ballets.
