Artist Bio
Tonya Latrice
(Bio as of March 2005)
Tonya Latrice most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Story during the 2004/2005 Season. She was also seen in the Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s production of The Story. Chicago theater credits include Lutiebelle in Purlie with Head Like Bricks Productions, and Once on This Island and Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry at Apple Tree Theatre. She made her New York debut in Trojan Women at the Drama Desk Award-winning Classical Theatre of Harlem. Additional theater credits include Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion, Emilia in The Winter’s Tale, Elicia/Lyse/Clarina in The Illusion and Lou Bessie in The Old Settler at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre; and Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors at Madison Repertory Theatre. Television credits include the NBC soap opera Passions.
