Artist Bio
Usman Ally

Usman Ally makes his Goodman debut. Other Chicago credits include Celebrity Row and Disgraced (Jeff nomination, Best Actor; Jeff Award, Best New Work) at American Theater Company; Oklahoma! at Lyric Opera of Chicago; Metamorphoses, The Arabian Nights and The Last Act of Lilka Kadison at Lookingglass Theatre Company; Relatively Close and The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity (Pulitzer Prize finalist; Jeff awards for Best Play and Best Production) at Victory Gardens Theater; Three Sisters at Steppenwolf Theatre Company; The Four of Us at Theater Wit; Weapon of Mass Impact at A Red Orchid Theatre and American Ethnic at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company. Off Broadway, he has appeared in The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity (Drama Desk, Obie and Lucille Lortel awards for Best Production) at Second Stage Theatre. His regional credits include The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles; Around the World in 80 Days at Kansas City Repertory Theater and Baltimore’s Centerstage; The Arabian Nights at Arena Stage and A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings at Florida’s Hippodrome Theatre. On film, he has appeared in Star Trek Into Darkness, Misled, Just Like a Woman among others, and his television credits include Damages, Boss, Blue Bloods, Influence and The Chicago Code.
